Terms and service agreement

Effective October 18, 2026 · Agreement version 2026-10-18

Creating a SocketJack account requires an affirmative, unchecked-by-default agreement choice. By choosing “I accept the terms and service agreement”, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the privacy policy, including its explanation of cookies and persistent data.

Read both documents before creating an account. Optional persistent transfer storage, connected accounts, publishing and other feature permissions have their own controls. Accepting these terms does not turn those optional features on.

1. The service and operator

SocketJack is operated by heirow. These terms govern your SocketJack account and use of the SocketJack-hosted website and connected services, including FruityLoopsCollab, heirowSnap, JackLLM / Workstation, heirowWebUI, heirowECU and hosted ShopManagement features, to the extent you use them. A shared account does not automatically grant every application's permissions, beta access, administrator role, shop membership or file access.

Third-party software licenses, open-source licenses, cloud-provider agreements and any separate terms shown for a particular service continue to apply. SocketJack does not grant a license to FL Studio, plug-ins, music, model weights or other third-party materials. Use each service only where you have authority to enter this agreement and permission to use the relevant software and content. If you act for an organization, you must be authorized to do so.

2. Accounts, sign-in and security

Provide information you are entitled to use, protect your password and signed-in devices, and keep recovery information current. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share another person's credentials, impersonate another user or attempt to acquire access you have not been given.

You may sign in using a supported external provider when enabled. If that provider is not already connected, continuing may create a SocketJack account after the agreement step. Linking or merging accounts has separate identity checks. A provider's verified identity, profile details and verified email may be stored as explained in the privacy policy. Password recovery, one-use application handoff links and account linking are security functions, not permission to inspect unrelated data.

We retain an acknowledgement record containing the account name or verified provider reference, agreement version, server time and registration channel. The record documents the acknowledgement request; it does not mean every attempted registration succeeded. Existing users are not represented as having accepted this version simply because they visit the site.

3. Cookies, local storage and persistent server data

SocketJack uses cookies and persistent data. These include sign-in and security cookies; saved browser preferences and, if separately enabled, transfer dictionaries in browser storage; account and profile records; uploaded files and projects; messages and collaboration information; support tickets; usage counters; and operational records. Closing a browser, app or tab does not automatically delete this information.

The cookie and browser-storage section explains the current storage names, purposes, lifetimes and controls. The retention section explains what can remain on servers and in backups. Signing out ends authenticated use of the relevant session; clearing browser data removes local copies without deleting the server account, public releases, cloud-provider files or copies held by other people.

Necessary sign-in and security storage supports the service you request. Optional persistent binary-transfer storage requires a separate choice in the browser and account controls. The agreement checkbox acknowledges these practices; it is not a blanket consent to advertising, unrelated tracking or every future use of information. Any additional permission or consent required for a feature must be requested separately.

Information is processed to run the features you use, authenticate and authorize access, deliver and store content, support collaboration, communicate about account security and support, apply usage limits, troubleshoot failures and protect the service. The privacy policy describes recipients, controls, retention and requests in detail.

4. Your content and sharing choices

You retain any rights you have in your projects, music, files, designs, text and other content. You give the operator permission to store, copy, process, transmit and display that content only as needed to provide the features and sharing you request, maintain the service, secure it and meet applicable obligations. This permission does not transfer ownership of your work to SocketJack.

Only upload or share material you are entitled to use. Obtain permission for other people's personal information, voices, images, recordings and copyrighted work where required. Review project archives, screenshots, stream windows, filenames, embedded metadata and chat messages before sending or publishing them.

Private and public access are different choices. A public project listing can disclose creator information, description, artwork and a published preview. Public ZIP downloads require the owner's separate approval and an eligible signed-in downloader. Classroom participation, streams, show-and-tell, microphone access and recordings can disclose content to the people allowed into that feature. Follow the controls and notices shown at the time.

People who receive your content may save copies. Revoking access, removing a listing or deleting an account cannot recall copies someone has already downloaded or recorded. Private access is an authorization setting; it does not itself promise end-to-end encryption or exclude necessary authorized service administration.

5. Acceptable use

Use SocketJack lawfully and respect other people. Do not upload malicious files, abuse or harass users, distribute content without the necessary rights, evade access controls or usage limits, obtain other users' private information, interfere with service operation, or misuse accounts, invitations, classrooms or support tools. Do not use the service to bypass software licensing or trial restrictions.

Keep independent backups of important work. Check which account, audience, storage provider, project and collaborators you have selected before transferring data. AI output, calibration tools, collaboration features and shop records require appropriate human review for your intended use; the availability of a tool does not guarantee the correctness of every result.

6. Availability, beta software and third parties

Features may be in development or closed beta. Access, compatibility with exact software builds, storage quotas, transfer speeds and service availability can change. Features can fail, be interrupted or require an update. We aim to explain material changes through the relevant page or app flow. No statement here promises uninterrupted operation, indefinite storage, a particular recovery outcome or compatibility with every FL Studio version or plug-in.

Connected cloud providers, model providers, identity providers and external sites operate independently and have their own policies, availability and limits. A link, integration or embedded item does not make SocketJack responsible for every action of its operator. Paid features, if offered, must show their price and applicable purchase terms separately; creating an account alone is not an agreement to an unspecified charge.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, development and beta features are provided as available without a guarantee that they will meet every requirement or be free of errors. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

7. Ending access, deletion and changes

You can stop using a feature, sign out, revoke sharing or a cloud connection, and request account deletion at admin@socketjack.com. Feature deletion controls and the privacy policy explain limits relating to cloud files, shared copies, security records and backups. Disconnecting a provider is separate from deleting its files or changing a project's visibility.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably needed for security, abuse prevention, legal obligations, service maintenance or violations of these terms. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us. Existing obligations concerning permitted content use, security, retained records and rights under applicable law can continue after access ends.

We will publish revised terms with a date and version. Where a material change requires a new agreement, we will request it through an appropriate service flow. A checkbox from an older version is not evidence of accepting an undisclosed future version.

8. Questions and contact

For questions about these terms, account access, content or privacy requests, contact heirow at admin@socketjack.com. Include the relevant username and service. Do not send passwords, session cookies, recovery codes or provider tokens.
